State of Emergency

“But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.” Matthew 6:6

Prayer is our lifeline to draw near to God. It is a time of intimacy and closeness unto Him.  If we watch the news and just look at what is going on in the world, in our communities, in our own families; we are in a state of emergency to pray even more.  In 1 Thessalonians 5:17 it says that we have to “pray without ceasing”; that means in the store, at work, in the car, at home, wherever the Holy Spirit leads you.  The prayer doesn’t have to be out loud but it may be done in quiet or private. Prayer gives us life that brings us closer to God. As we get close to Him, hear Him and are directed by Him, heavens will open up on our behalf.  Heavens will open up for our families, children, health, finances, friends, and this world.  So don’t let anything STOP you from Keeping your Life Line going to the Father. We are in a State of Emergency to Pray!

Sharing of Testimonies from Eagles Who Have Travelled Globally

Praise God My Eagle Sisters and Brothers,

     In October 2010, Eagle Yolanda Hill and I had the wonderful privilege of journeying to a little village called Nyaharuru in Kenya East Africa, along with 14 other members of Co-Labourers With Christ. This is an organization whose purpose it is to build and support the In Heaven's Eyes Educational Center, where street children are able to not only come for food, clothing and shelter, but to obtain a quality education and spiritual guidance as well.  The team was there for three weeks and during that time God worked mightily through us. The beginning started with local missionaries, In Heaven's Eyes children and pastors of the various churches joining together to conduct two days of street crusades and three days of conferences.  Souls were saved and many backsliders recommitted their lives to Christ. Thereafter, we joined together each week and hundreds of homeless people were fed, much needed medical attention was given and items of clothing and shoes were purchased for all the street children from miles around.

     Eagle Yolanda Hill was used in a powerful way by God to choreograph and lead the dances for the conference workshops, the crusades and the church she attended as the Praise and Worship Leader and Armor bearer.  You had to have been there to see the love and appreciation the children and adults showed for the time spent with them. God blessed me to speak to the Pastor's wives at the conference and to assist Eagle Yolanda in teaching and participating in the dances. He used me to encourage the older women that they could still be used in the ministry of dance regardless of their age.  This however, encouraged me to keep on pushing.

     It was amazing to experience how the people love to worship and praise God for 2-3 hours before the sermons were preached, and at times they may preach two sermons.  But the highlight of the journey was to actually learn how one man took it upon himself to walk for miles and miles from his home every day for years to help the poor and needy children. His vision to provide help for them eventually grew into pulling together families, churches and villages to unite so that the village of Nyaharuru would no longer be ruled by voodoo, witchcraft and false gods.  The people of the village now hears and lives by the WORD, they see themselves as God sees them, and are being restored to the glorious splendor they once were.  It was and still is an experience that neither of us shall ever forget. You had to have been there to grasp the essence of it all!
